At this point, I’ve finished rebranding existing websites with our new logos and name, which has been a significant milestone in creating a cohesive identity for our organization. Additionally, I’ve completed the process of signing up as a volunteer for the parks department, where I look forward to making a positive impact on our local community. My next step will involve developing print materials to effectively promote our initiatives. I want signs and postcard flyers that will capture attention and convey our message clearly, but for now, I’ll be concentrating on organizing my first event and managing the scheduling logistics involved. I’m hoping to eventually establish a routine that allows us to meet once a week, with the help of a few dedicated volunteers whose involvement will be crucial for our success. I know of one individual who is particularly interested, which is a strong starting point; I believe that as we grow, we will attract more like-minded individuals who share our vision and passion for enhancing our parks and community spaces.
Another factor will be family logistics. Saturdays are filled with appointments for my spouse that cannot be set aside or rescheduled, creating a challenging scenario for us. I have to navigate these commitments carefully while also managing my responsibilities. This involves coordinating times and possibly requiring some creative solutions to ensure everything goes smoothly. I often refer to this juggling act as His work. It demands a delicate balance of my time and efforts without turning my wife into a sort of babysitter for our children. I need to ensure that she is able to fully enjoy her time as well, and that requires thoughtful planning and open communication between us both.
